Joust
Sorry, I don't have
a lot of pics (or even some good ones). Had some really bad seats
for the show.
I do plan on going again this weekend. Hopefully will get some
better stuff.
I am excited about the joust again this year. Seems like the chemistry is back again. :)
It is great to see live jousting. I know the rest of the fights are scripted, but the jousting, anything can happen. The lances are real. They are not weakened so they break easily. And to do those fights with all that armor must take a lot to do. Those suits of armor are not light by any means.
So I tip my hat to the riders that are brave, bold, and stong enough to go out there and do this multiple times a day every weekend!!!

Next to the last day.
Unfortunately, I missed the shot here (thanks to a stupid railing
in my way). In the pic on the left you can almost see what
happened. A gorilla came out from under the dias to grab the
knight in green and drag him off the field. Picture on the right
shows the gorilla.
