Sword School
If you want a look at the serious side of class, click here. I will attempt to explain what the school is like.
Hard to believe, but these 2 gentlemen (and I use the term loosely) are the brains and the brawn behind the School of the Sword. If they ever get ever get a sign, I will get a picture of it.
Somehow, the sword school has avoided photos so
far this year. What few I have taken have not turned out.
Things
are bound to change though. This weekend was probably just the
calm before the storm. They only had 1 of their 4 new assistants
with them. When the others arrive, things are bound to liven up.
(for anyone here last year, you know things were pretty lively
without the help)
Let me start with some introductions of the new assistants.
Cy on the left, Jones in the middle and Max on the right.
I knew when I arrived on the 3rd day that Sword School was
getting back into the swing of things.
Found Master Turk sitting in the nobles tent with Jones.
The last of the new assistants finally arrived. Jenna (aka
Tempest).

Then there was Wolfe with his new cape.
Here is what one of the classes actually looks like.
Now this next series
will take a little explanation. Genghis Khan was recruiting
troops for his army. Wolfe thought that Khan was just a big
blowhard and was going to show him the error of his ways. Wolfe
laid down the gauntlet, and Khan accepted the challenge.
When Wolfe had the assistants bring out the weapons though, Khan
was a bit surprised.
Wolfe's choice of impliment of death was none other
than............
A pillow!
And so the battle began.
The battle went back and forth for a while....
But, eventually Khan got the hange of this strange weapon and
disarmed Wolfe who yeilded to Khan to end the battle.

The 3rd weekend was Jones' last one at faire. Also, the only
weekend with all 4 assistants together.
He is off to boot camp now.

Next to the last day was not a safe time to be around sword
school. They were attacking everyone with their marshmallow guns!
Sword School took it upon themselves to rate the participants in
the parade.

The ladies of Wessex are back!
These next ones are a little small and low quality. That's what
happens when I am shooting from across the joust field.
