Due to lots of confusion and mis-identified discs I have decided to make this page to help clear things up.

There are several things to look for when trying to figure out which show you actually have.
First is to listen to Bruce talk just before Purgatory. Most of them, you can actually understand the name of the location.
Another way is to listen to Bruce talk just before Phantom of the Opera.

I will list each show, total disc time, number of tracks, and what to listen for at both those points.

10/26/81 Bologna - disc time = 74:43 time 17 tracks. You can hear the name Bologna said at the end of track 1.
At the end of track 11 when Bruce is introducing Phantom, he talks about a man who lived in a theater and wore a mask. The sound on this show is very clear, it also sounds like small crowd

10/27/81 Rome - disc time = 70:56 18 tracks. Can't really understand what Bruce says before Purgatory.
At the begining of track 12 it is also hard to understand, but it is a very short intro to Phantom.
Has the Doctor Doctor intro. Also, you can tell where the tape flip is at end of track 11 as Running Free is cut a little short and there is no Murders in the Rue Morgue. Also, the guitar solo is a separate track.
Sound is sort of distant, but very clear.

10/28/81 Firenze - disc time = 75:36 17 tracks. You can hear name Firenze said at end of track 2.
At the end of track 12, Bruce says something about Maiden's greatest hits volume ........ (something but too low to tell, almost sounds like 4 or 24) This whole segment is a little quiet and muffled. As opposed to Milan which is very clear and distinct.
The sound is very trebly and has a few noticable tape drags. My copy has a little high pitched static in a couple places too.

10/29/81 Padova - disc time 72:26 16 tracks. You can clearly hear name padova said at end of track 1.
Before Phantom Bruce says about Maidens greatest hits again, but he doesn't say andything about volume #.

10/30/81 Milan 1 cd - disc time = 73:39 time 16 tracks. I can't understand what Bruce says before Ghengis. It sounds something like Padova but isn't. The Padova boot is clearly different and clearly says Padova.
At the end of track 1 Bruce says something about equipment problems then this is from Maidens greatest hits volume 38. This is all very clear, and easy to understand.
If you look at the track list, you can see it is screwed up. Probably a vynil boot that when transferred had the sides switched.

10/30/81 milan 2 cd - disc1 time = 59:38 13 tracks. disc 2 time = 40:03 8 tracks. Same info as the 1 disc version for telling the show. Only difference here is tracklist. And that 4 songs are repeated on the discs.
