First we started off getting caught
up.
Wolfe regailed us with a tale of his trip to walmart.
As you can see from the pics, it was quite an......
what's the word I am looking for?
Interesting!
Yeah, that's it.
It was quite the 'interesting' tale :-) |

Next, we got started on
pressure points.
These are lots of fun. You get to make people jump
around, or fall to the floor just by pressing or hitting
certain areas.
Of course how much fun you have depends on who you are
matched up with, since some people are more sensitive
than others. And sometimes having them tried on you is
not the greatest thing in the world (can anyone here say
'sternum'? ) |

After a break for lunch,
we moved on to Spontaneous Knife Defense.
|
 |
 |
This one had lots of great
stuff.
Some good techniques on how to defend yourself if
attacked by someone with a knife.
It was a real work-out too!
Not only was it a little rough on the arms, but a real
work-out for the thigh muscles.
But it was all worth the work. Learned a great deal. and
gained some really good perspective on what is needed to
actually survive a knife fight. Well worth the time and
cost. |
